Police to launch tip-off line against business extortion

EASTERN CAPE – Over 7-hundred suspected extortionists have been arrested, with over 52 convictions over the past 5 years.
National Police Commissioner, Fannie Masemola says this shows some progress is being made.

It comes as Protection Mafia terrorise communities in the Eastern Cape.
Masemola says a toll-free tip-off line will be launched soon.
