The EVIL EYE is an unblinking emblem of strength, working non-stop to ward off misfortune and to protect the wearer from harmful energy. The protective eye encourages you to look beyond the visible world as it symbolizes the divine watchful gaze of the Universe. The ancient talisman, with its Turkish, Greek, Arabic and Mediterranean connections, has today become a universal symbol of protection across the globe.
The FIGA or MANO FICO is an amulet in the shape of a closed fist, with the thumb enclosed between the index and middle finger. Figa is considered a lucky talisman in various cultures. For the Spanish, the Italians, the Hispanics, and the Mexicans, et. al, it is called "Mano Fico" because the position of the hand is very reminiscent of the fig. For the ancient Romans this fruit represented the female sexual organ and was associated with fertility and abundance. Therefore the symbol is a representation of, well, you know. In this way, it is said to ward off the "evil eye" and bring protection to the wearer, as the gesture is to be so offensive that it would scare away Evil!
The CORNICELLO or HORN hails from Italy where superstitious belief encourages you to protect yourself and your loved ones against danger, misfortune and bad luck. The horn dates back to ancient Roman times and is still widely used today. Referred to in Italian as "cornuto" (horned), "cornetto"(croissant), or "corno" (horn)... the horns ward off the MALACCHIO (Evil Eye) of devilish envy by invoking bull-like strength against malice, bad luck and misfortune, similar to "touch wood" or "knock wood".

Due to variations in both materials and sourced supplies, slight imperfections are to be expected. Natural beads and stones often contain flaws, blemishes, variations and inclusions. Your jewelry is handcrafted to be lasting, but gemstones, crystals, beads and metals are not eternal. Natural wear and tear will also affect your jewelry. By following these simple tips, however, you can maintain your jewelry’s beauty for as long as possible:
> DO NOT GET YOUR JEWELRY WET ~ Keep your jewelry away from moisture. It is best to remove your jewelry before washing your hands, while showering, exercising and swimming since contact with water can tarnish metals and ruin the finishes of druzys and gemstones.
> AVOID CONTACT WITH CHEMICALS ~ Perfume, soap, moisturizer, lotion, hand sanitizer and other chemicals can discolor metals and charms, may harm natural crystals, gemstones and druzys, and can also damage crafting materials. Be careful.
> AVOID HEAT EXPOSURE ~ Leaving your jewelry in sunlight or exposed to heat for an extended period of time can also cause beads and metal to discolor. Remember to remove your jewelry while exercising.
> STORE SAFELY ~ Always store your jewelry safely in a soft pouch or secured in a box or drawer. Never wear your jewelry to bed and remove when sleeping.
